Most frequent questions and answers
Precision Flow Control Instruments Make Mass Flow Meters are Based On Thermal Mass Flow Measurement Working Principle. This Measurement is Perfect For The Air Flow Measurement Because Of The Major Following Reasons
– No Moving Parts
-Pressure, Temperature & Density Compensated
-High Turndown,.Accuracy, Repeatablity, Reliablity
Air Flow Meters are Relatively Less Expensive Than The Other Flow Meters For Gases. Usually Digital Air Flow Meters Cost In The Range Of Rs.8000 to Rs.20000 Per Pc.We Manufacture Most Cost Effective Air Flow Meters In India.
We Can Make almost Any End Connection Like The Flanged End , Socket End, Threaded End, Ferrule Fitting, Wafer Type, Sandwich Type, Insertion Type, Quick Connect Fittings.
Usually Thermal Mass Flow Meters For Air, If Used With Dry Air Have a Long Life Typically More Than 7+ Years, and Usually Our Experience Understands Us The Signal Drift Which is Occured After Period Of time is also Low. and So If There are Enough Care Taken In The Installiation and Working Then There Should Be Atleast Of 3-4 Years Life For The Instrument . Every Year Caliberation For The Air is Recommended For Validation Of Instrument Purposes.
We Have Made The Flow Meter Extremely Simple. Our 4 Digits Flow Rate Shows Flow Rate As Per The Ordered Flow Units. In LPM , m3/hr or SCFM Etc. The Flow Rate is a 4 Digit Instant Flow Rate Value in Terms Of Per Hour or Per Minute. The Totaliser Is a Cumulative Total Of The Gas Passed Through The Instrument Which Goes on Increasing Till The Instrument is Zeroed/ Resetted.
Yes The Thermal Air Flow Meter Is Designed In Such Way That It HAs a High Turndown Ratio . Usually Our All The Air Flow Meters Have a Turndown Ratio Of Around 1: 200 . That is a 200 th Part Of Max Flow Rate Can Be Measured With The Same Accuracy As Per Specified as Full Scale Accuracy.
For Example : If The Flow Rate is 200 LPM and Turndown is 1:200 With a Accuracy of 0.5% Full Scale, Then As Per Our Standards and Working The Instrument Should Indicate a Minimum Flow Of +/- 1 LPM In Any Range Of 0 to 200 LPM At Any Point Of Flow Rate, Even Tested Indidually. We Mostly Follow a 100 Point Linearisation For Even The Cost Effective Flow Meters.
